Brett had his first track meet Wednesday and ran Varsity. He then participated in the Desert Classic Invitational in Queen Creek on Friday. He won his heat so we are posting it here for you to see. It was pretty exciting for Brett (and us). He is the third from the right side.

Wow that was impressive! Does Brett's school know about The Simplot Games? Martin and I have attended it the past four years. The Simplot Games is the nation's premier indoor track and field event for high school athletes. It's held in Pocatello, ID and was started 30 years ago by J.R. Simplot. It's a very impressive event and many of the participants have become Olympic medalists. Visit their website for more information: www.simplotgames.com.
