Happy Birthday Siena!

Siena Joy is 4! Wow. We are so proud of our precious little girl! She received the best news ever two days ago with the good news of coverage for therapies and MERRY CHRISTMAS! We are overJOYed and expect a wonderfully productive year! God is So Good! What a bright and growing year ahead of her! You go Siena! Grammy and Bapa love you more than words could express! We had such a wonderful time in CT celebrating Cecily's 4th Birthday (9/30/16)! Grammy and Bapa did not want to miss out on this special event! Lots of snuggles and games during our Three and a Half days together! Love Love Love you, our precious Cecily Brynn! We cannot get enough of you. You are such a doll. HUGS and KISSES!!!

Perpetua Hope

Today we honored the short life of our granddaughter Perpetua Hope. What a beautiful name. She will always be a part of us even though we don't get to see her grow up on earth. She is our Saint in Heaven just like Simon Jude and Vianney Marie. We don't understand the "why" but we trust in the Lord. We pray that Aaron and Lynette feel God's infinite love for their family and have the strength to endure the sadness they feel at this tremendous loss.

Happy Birthday Rosemary Clara!

So... what a story we heard! I think this story would have remained buried except for the fact that Mindy and Josh named their little one Marliese Rosemary. Mimi has admitted it caused a stir in her to confess, lol. In Forest Lakes we celebrated Mimi's birthday. Mimi wanted to get her own cake and when it was brought out, it said Rosemary Clara. We were all a little confused as her name is Rosemary Carol. Even Pops was confused since what we were about to hear was news to him as well. Apparently Mimi thought the name Clara was an "old" sounding name and didn't care for it. It was the name of her great grandmother. She wanted to change it to CAROL. Her father took her to a larger city where she could apply to have it legally changed. This was when she was a senior in high school I believe. At Mimi's graduation the students handed the reader of the graduate names, a card that said their name. Mimi's card said her new name ROSEMARY CAROL WEIGEL. And this was the first time her mother heard about the name change. Can you imagine? Mimi you rebel you! HAHA! Anyway, I think it finally hit Mimi that someday Marliese could change her name to Marliese Rebecca (heehee). So now Mimi has a clear conscience and I think Rosemary Clara sounds very pretty! 

57 years for me!

Tonight my view was awesome as I looked out at my family singing Happy Birthday to me… It really was a picture to remember in my head. Thank you to everyone who shared in the night. You all made me feel so special. I am blessed! Here are some pics from the month of July. :)

Farewell Lady Bella

Tuesday, June 21st, we had to say goodbye to our precious Ladybug. 13 years and 3 months old. It was a sad two days as we had her checked at the Vet and then spent the evening and next day loving on her as the hours counted down till 5 o'clock. Severe kidney failure made it certain we had no other choice but to let her go. Lady was such a wonderful sweet sweet dog. I will miss seeing her chew on her rope, turn in a circle, wait patiently at the back door to be let out, stare at us when she hadn't been fed or was out of water, chase and play with Kayoobi and wrap her front legs around him to pull him down when she felt he was getting too rowdy. She was even known to smile. Yes, smile. ;) We love you, our dear loyal companion, Lady Bella Anderson!

Happy Birthday Lynette! I hope you have a beautiful and blessed year! You are a wonderful mama and your babies adore you! Glad you could get a little adult time today though. I know Aaron loved stealing you away for a bit. We always love spending time with our grandkiddos! Nicaea was so proud to make this for you today and you can see it in her face! Siena and Dom also enjoyed being "hands on"!
