Here is a photo from today's newspaper. My student Lauren is showing off a windsock that she made in my class. (This is a project I have my class make every year around September 11th.) As we all do each year 9/11 comes around, I think about what I was doing on that shocking day. I was so grateful to have the distraction of teaching sweet little 3 year olds who were so innocent and oblivious to the unfolding events that were shaking our world.
