Christmas 2020

It was a different Christmas, that's for sure. 🎄 It was spread out over more days which was very fun actually. We enjoyed Zoo Lights with a drive thru thanks to Affinity. We had our movie day at Harkins just our family. We had the 23rd with our family at the Kinnaman home where the kids decorated ornaments and played AND we enjoyed Someburros. Gotta have Mexican food. Tradition! We enjoyed Christmas Eve mass with the Andersons. 🙏 We sat on the far left side by the Nativity. At the beginning of mass, Father Sergio placed the baby Jesus in the manger and we had a beautiful view which was such a blessing for the kids to see so nice and close! 🎁 Gift giving was separate for the families at their homes or via Zoom for the Fleethams. Some gifts arrived late in the mail, but that was okay. I think this year has taught some patience as we all are learning to adjust and accept things that are out of our control. We sure missed being able to spend time with the extended family and having our out of towners be able to visit. 😞 We tried to make sure Mimi and Pops were connected with zoom calls and phone calls and people sending pictures to their new digital photo frame which they LOVE! 💛 Even though many folks have taken down their Christmas decorations, I am a firm believer in celebrating the 12 days of Christmas culminating with Epiphany which is today, January 6th. 👍 So, I am going to happily enjoy my Christmas tree proudly displayed in its decorated glory. Well, I guess I must, since we are out of town at a timeshare. But hey, I might just enjoy it for another week when we get home since I've missed out on a whole week! 😉 PS- This year St. Anne had Baby Jesus on banners for the doors of homes. People have purchased them across the US and some internationally as well.
